H.khadija
- Hazrat Khadija was the daughter of Khuwalid bin Asad and Fatima bint Za'idah.
- She belonged to a noble and prosperous Quraish family.
- Her father was a successful businessman and the chief of his family.
- She was married to Abu Hala bin Zurarah and had two sons with him.
- After her first husband's death, she married Ateeq bin Aidh Makhzumi ****and had a daughter with him.
- She was known as Umm-e-Hind and also as Tahira, or the pure.
- She needed an honest person to manage her trade after her father's death.
- The Holy Prophet Muhammad was recommended to manage her trade.
- He successfully managed her trade, and she prospered in her business.
- She proposed marriage to the Holy Prophet, and they got married when he was 25 and she was 40.
- The marriage was very happy, and the Holy Prophet did not marry again until her death.
- She had two sons and four daughters with the Holy Prophet; both sons died in infancy, but her daughters, h. Zainab, H. Ruqayyah, Umm Kulsum, and h Fatimah survived, out of which H. Fatimah outlived them all.
- Hazrat Khadija died in the 10th year of Prophethood, three years before Hijrah.
- She was the first convert to Islam and the first to abandon the idolatrous creed of her forefathers. (Shortly after the first revelation)
- She suffered persecution and hardships with the Holy Prophet.
- She provided moral and financial support to the Holy Prophet.
- The Holy Prophet loved and respected her greatly, even after her death.
- Hazrat Aisha became jealous of the Holy Prophet's love for Hazrat Khadija.
- Hazrat Khadija is considered one of the noblest women in the world
